The three main changes to the Springfield Masonic Community that were constructed by Corna-Kokosing were the York Rite building, Scottish Rite Building and Clubhouse. The York Rite Building underwent a complete renovation with an updated lobby area, a gift shop, ice-cream parlor and more. Within the York Rite Building, the original chapel was converted into the Reflective Gallery which is a space for reading and reflection that has a unique ambiance due to the original stained glass windows that have been restored. The Scottish Rite Building is a new wing that has provided 65 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments on the upper levels. On the lower level, there is a physician’s clinic and fitness center area. The Clubhouse, an unattached building connected by outdoor walkways, is an activity center for residents that provides amble seating for multiple occasions, a full-service kitchen/cafe area, and multitudes of windows that allow ample morning and evening sun giving residents expands views of the rolling hills of the area.
