Looking to expand into the Columbus construction marketplace, Robertson Construction commissioned a new 8,000 sq.ft. facility in Newark, Ohio. This facility will house their current team with the potential to propel the evolution of their organization. The site for the building was selected to decrease the typical commute to Columbus projects from Newark while maintaining strong community links to the City of Heath. For both economy and efficiency, the design utilizes Robertson’s expertise in the erection of pre-engineered structural frames. The exterior skin of Metal panels at varying scales and reclaimed barn siding reflect an agricultural vernacular and the craftsmanship Robertson is recognized for. The interior is organized around a central open office with flanking collaboration spaces. Public spaces are adjacent to the visitor entrance while the North portion of the facility is dedicated to servicing office and field employees with the break/training room, restrooms, and fitness center.
