Nestled on sixteen acres of hillside, just south of Cayuga lake, the Collegetown Terrace Apartments serve as a housing option for Cornell’s growing student population. This three phase project included adding over 600 beds, more parking space availability, and student areas for studying or hanging out. Following the contours of the landscape these apartment buildings would blend in with the scenery if it weren’t for the materials and colors being used. Staying true to their original Environmental Impact Statement this private non-institutional project has been a positive contribution to the Ithaca and the Cornell campus area.
