One of the final two Bold Booths projects to be completed in the city out of five lot shelters, PARKLot is a public art installation created by DesignGroup for the Capital Crossroads SID Bold Booths project. Made of bright green rebar, giving the appearance of tall grass, PARKLot offers a bold and unique image on a busy street corner. Leaning rails encourage standup gathering for small collections of people at this popular pedestrian corner, inviting small moments of engagement at an icon rallying point while the park grass absorbs the functional equipment of the parking lot into an artful composition.
