Nestled between Philadelphia and Atlantic City, the outlets were intended to become a social hub for the area, offering not only retail and restaurant offerings but economic development in the form of jobs and a simulated town center for the entire community to utilize. Drawing design aesthetics from the colonial revival era the shopping outlet has a classic New England town square feel. At the center of the mall is 6,000 sq. ft. of green space with artificial grass that can be used by the community and complex to host events. The square features a fountain, fire pit, ample seating, and food kiosks.
